Matt is Back!

The voice of Pacific Airshow, Matt Jolley, is set to return to the Gold Coast for our second edition!

Matt, whose exceptional popularity from the 2023 Pacific Airshow Gold Coast still echoes through the airwaves, is just as much of a star attraction as the aircraft themselves with many attendees sharing their positive reviews with our team following the successful 2023 event.

His unparalleled knowledge and captivating insights make him a true standout.

With a unique style of commentary, deep-rooted passion for aviation and absolute dedication to delivering exceptional insights and classic side-splitting jokes, Matt has solidified his status as one of the most sought-after voices on the airshow circuit.

“I am incredibly thrilled and honoured to be flying ‘down under’ once again and taking the mic for the second Pacific Airshow Gold Coast,” said Matt.

“The energy and enthusiasm of the audience here are simply unmatched, and I can't wait to immerse myself in the extraordinary atmosphere of this airshow!

“I have made many friends in Australia so I genuinely cannot wait to get back down to you all and perhaps sneak in a Tim Tam or two as well!”

Matt’s remarkable journey in broadcasting and aviation has earned him acclaim and admiration from audiences worldwide.

Back in the early 1990s, Matt’s neighbour Ron converted his living room into a television studio, and because nobody else was interested in making TV in Ron’s living room, Matt got the job hosting Wildcat Corner. Twenty-five years later, Matt’s still in the media business (and so is Ron).

Matt has worked all across the U.S, and now calls Georgia home. It’s here, on Fair Chance Farm that Matt hosts his own podcast highlighting the incredible stories of Airmen past and present on Warbird Radio, which he was awarded the National Edward R. Murrow for. Matt also hosts a weekly request and dedication show on GeorgiaRadio.com, and co-hosts SHOW CENTER The Airshow Podcast with two of his US airshow colleagues covering the latest in airshow news.

Matt’s work in airshows has earned him The International Council of Air Shows Pinnacle Award, and Special Achievement Award.

When he’s not winging it around the globe announcing airshows, he can be found enjoying time at home caring for two old airplanes (deHavilland Chipmunks) and one old tractor.
