Access to the Excitement at Pacific Airshow Gold Coast

Exhilarating performances from the aviator rock stars of Pacific Airshow Gold Coast made it a day of thrills and a new experience for Natasha Forrest and her partner Robert Smith.

Natasha uses a wheelchair so she and Robert watched the inaugural 2023 show over Surfers Paradise from the Accessible Viewing Area.

“My dad was a fireman in the RAAF for 40 years, and Robert is a photographer so we thought we would check out the airshow and we are so glad we went,” Natasha said.

Brisbane-based Natasha recently obtained qualifications in tourism and is a passionate advocate for inclusivity.

“I would recommend the airshow for the spectacular performances plus the food options were good, and it is a great family atmosphere,” she said.  “My advice is to use public transport and get there early!”

PAGC says the main Accessible Viewing Area is located at the northern end of the precinct and includes a limited covered area and a wheelchair friendly bathroom.

The Accessible Viewing Area is manned and supported by the Volunteer Ground Crew and Companion Cards are accepted.
