Get the heli to school winner announced

Ten-year-old Ella Bourke is over the moon after winning the Pacific Airshow’s Get the HELI to School colouring competition. Thanks to the fun-loving crew at Pacific Airshow Gold Coast and their friends at Gold Coast Helitours, Ella, who is in grade 5, will enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Ella, along with her dad Mark and two friends, will wing their way to Coomera Rivers State School in a scenic helicopter flight. The Pacific Airshow team has gone all out to reward Ella’s artistic talent with a thrilling ride that will swoop over the beautiful Gold Coast before landing safely on the school oval, just in time for class.

“She was extremely excited to be just on the radio so once it gets super close she won’t be able to control her excitement!” said Ella’s mum Eryn.

“We really thank Pacific Airshow from the bottom of hearts.”

The flight, piloted by Scott Menzies from Gold Coast Helitours, is scheduled for mid-July, pending final date confirmation from Coomera Rivers State School Principal, Mr Graham.
