Emma McDonald Named Pacific Airshow Ambassador
From being told she didn’t belong to becoming one of the world’s most exciting aerobatic pilots, Emma McDonald joins Pacific Airshow as an ambassador.
Known for her daring aerobatic displays and presence in the cockpit, Emma has become one of the most popular and exciting pilots in Pacific Airshow’s line-up and aviation community.
Pacific Airshow CEO Kevin Elliott said what makes the appointment so significant is not just where Emma is now, but everything she overcame to get there.
“Emma is one of the best pilots in the world, but what makes her such a strong ambassador for Pacific Airshow is what sits behind the performance,” Elliott said.
“She has earned her place through grit and resilience. Her journey speaks to what Pacific Airshow is all about: rising above and going beyond limitations.” “Emma brings a level of excellence, authenticity and presence that resonates far beyond aviation. She is an inspiration to so many.”
Pacific Airshow Ambassador Emma McDonald said the appointment was a huge honour.
“Pacific Airshow is one of the most insane aviation experiences in the world. The energy of the crowd, the setting, and the level of performers make it incredibly special to be part of,” McDonald said.
“To be named an ambassador is a huge honour. If my journey can help inspire even one young person to back themselves and chase something that feels out of reach, then that means everything to me.”
For Pacific Airshow, Emma’s appointment is about more than a title. It reflects the event’s commitment to celebrating not just elite talent in aviation, but the ambition and determination behind it.
